WHO WE ARE
The APGO is a voluntary self-regulatory body for organisations involved in Payroll Giving fundraising. Our members are Payroll Giving Agencies and Professional Fundraising Organisations who have agreed to abide by the code of conduct set down by the Association. They believe that this will ensure best practice for all in the sector.
With more than 1.2 million employers in the UK, charities choose to outsource their fundraising to our members. This can allow their cause to have a presence in the workplace when otherwise this may seem impossible.
All members of the association are also members of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk
WORKING WITH EMPLOYERS?
Payroll Giving Agencies and Professional Fundraising Organisations work with employers to promote Payroll Giving to their employees.
Our members assist employers in re-launching existing schemes or introducing and promoting Payroll Giving in organisations new to the scheme.
The most effective way to promote Payroll Giving is to speak with employees face-to-face and our member’s expertise and resources can be used to make your scheme as effective as possible.
The APGO provides employers with an opportunity to work exclusively with one member through our Single Agreement list. Join APGO
