Argos Ltd : Hands on Helping

Argos was the first retailer last year to receive the new Gold Award from the Institute of Fundraising, for achieving a 10% participation of its employees through the Payroll Giving scheme. To win a gold award companies have to demonstrate that they have actively promoted payroll giving within the last year, either pay the administration costs or match employee’s donations.

Guardian News & Media : Workplace Giving UK

Guardian News & Media has actively promoted Payroll Giving for the past five years in partnership with Workplace Giving UK. Desk to desk promotions in the workplace have been a huge success resulting in a 35% employee uptake. A total of £427,000 has been donated to charities through the scheme since 2002.
