Tuesday 8th November 2022: Payroll Giving Conference – Celebrating 35 years and looking to the future of Payroll Giving

This in person event will provide charities of all sizes with information and tips to support them growing their income through Payroll Giving.

Celebrating 35 years of donors supporting charities this way, we will look at:

  • How charities can use digital and social media to promote and grow Payroll Giving,
  • How a corporate has introduced and successfully ran a scheme,
  • How to get involved in Payroll Giving,
  • Ask questions of experts in the sector.

APGO Training

The APGO members include the most experienced individuals from across the sector.  To help charities understand Payroll Giving and get the most out of this valuable income stream, the APGO are pleased to provide virtual training sessions.  Sessions are hosted by volunteers from the APGO members. Any profits made from training sessions are used to better promote and recognise Payroll Giving.

Introduction to Payroll Giving

This session covers the Payroll Giving donation process, the relationship between sector organisations and gives ideas on how charities can maximise income.

You’ll learn the complete donor journey from how data is collected, how donations are set up, and how a charity receives the funds and inbound data. We cover how to interpret donor communication preferences and building the donor relationship.

The session explains the difference between a PFO and a PGA, the different roles they play and how charities can work best with different sector organisations.

We’ll give you ideas for maximising income with how to recruit donors as a charity, and top tips on working with a corporate partner on Payroll Giving.
